This guide covers everything you need to set up and configure your No One Survived dedicated server. No One Survived is a survival crafting game featuring zombie threats, base building, vehicles, farming, and NPC encounters in a post-apocalyptic open world.
First Start in GPanel
After purchasing your No One Survived server, follow these steps to get it running:
- Log in to GPanel and select your No One Survived server from the server list.
- Navigate to the Startup tab to review and configure your startup variables.
- Click Start on the main console page. The server will download the dedicated server files via SteamCMD automatically.
- Wait for the installation and first-time world generation to complete. This may take several minutes depending on the map size and server resources.
- Once the console shows the server is ready and listening for connections, players can join.
Startup Variables
GPanel provides startup variables under the Startup tab that control the server launch parameters:

Server Configuration
No One Survived uses two configuration files located in the WRSH/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ directory. You can edit these through GPanel's File Manager or via SFTP.
Game.ini — Server Identity and Gameplay
The primary gameplay configuration is in WRSH/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/Game.ini under the [ServerSetting] section:

Engine.ini — Network Settings
Network configuration is in WRSH/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/Engine.ini. Port and Steam networking settings are managed here but are typically set automatically by GPanel.
Game.ini. If a setting is not behaving as expected, check the Startup tab first.
How to Connect
Via the Server Browser
- Launch No One Survived and select Multiplayer from the main menu.
- Click Server Browser or Find Servers.
- Use the search bar or filters to find your server by name.
- Click on your server and press Join. Enter the password if required.
Via Direct IP
- From the multiplayer menu, look for a Direct Connect or Connect by IP option.
- Enter your server's IP address and game port (found in GPanel).
- Click Connect.
Save Management and Backups
No One Survived server saves store the entire world state including player bases, inventories, vehicles, and world progression.
Save File Location
World save data is stored in the server's save directory. You can access these files through GPanel's File Manager or via SFTP.
Creating Backups
- Stop the server before creating a backup to avoid corrupted files.
- Navigate to the save directory in GPanel's File Manager.
- Select the save files and use the Archive option to create a zip backup.
- Download the archive to your local machine for safekeeping.
Restoring a Backup
- Stop the server.
- Upload your backup archive via GPanel's File Manager or SFTP.
- Extract the backup files into the save directory, overwriting the existing files.
- Start the server. It will load the restored save data.
World Reset / Wipe
If you want to start fresh with a new world:
- Stop the server.
- Navigate to the save directory in GPanel's File Manager.
- Delete or rename the existing world save folder.
- Start the server. A new world will be generated with the current settings.
