This guide covers admin setup and in-game admin commands for your SCUM dedicated server on Legion Hosting, including finding your Steam ID, adding admins, and a full command reference. For server setup and configuration, see SCUM Server Setup.
Admin Setup
SCUM uses Steam IDs to grant admin privileges. To become an admin on your server, you need to add your Steam64 ID to the admin configuration.
Finding Your Steam64 ID
- Open your Steam profile in a web browser.
- Your Steam64 ID is the long numeric ID in the URL (e.g.,
76561198012345678). - If your profile uses a custom URL, visit steamid.io and paste your profile URL to look up your Steam64 ID.
Adding Admin SteamIDs
- Stop your server from GPanel.
- Open the GPanel Files tab and navigate to:
SCUM/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ - Look for an admin configuration file (commonly named
Admins.txtor referenced in your server's startup configuration). If it does not exist, create it. - Add one Steam64 ID per line:
76561198012345678 76561198087654321 - Save the file and start your server.
Admins.txt file, check the GPanel Startup tab for an admin-related variable, or contact support for guidance.
