Space Station 14 Admin Commands

Dostupné v: ESPAÑOL

This guide covers admin commands, permissions, and server management for your Space Station 14 server on Legion Hosting. For initial server setup and configuration, see our Space Station 14 Server Setup Guide.

Admin Setup

SS14 uses a role-based admin system. Admins are configured in the server's data files. To add yourself as an admin:

  1. Stop your server in GPanel
  2. Navigate to the File Manager and open data/admins.yml (create it if it does not exist)
  3. Add your SS14 username with the desired admin rank:
    admins:
      YourUsername: FullAdmin
  4. Start the server
Account Names: Use your exact SS14 account username, not a display name. Authentication mode must be set to 1 (required) for account-based admin assignment to work reliably.

Admin Ranks

SS14 supports custom admin ranks with granular permission flags. Default ranks typically include:

Rank Description
FullAdmin Full access to all admin tools and commands
GameAdmin In-game administration (spawning, teleporting, banning)
Moderator Player moderation (kicks, bans, admin messages)

Using the Admin Panel

Once connected as an admin, you can open the admin panel in-game:

  1. Press F7 or type /adminpanel in chat to open the admin panel
  2. The panel provides tabs for player management, object spawning, and server controls

Common Admin Commands

Admin commands are entered in the chat box (press T) with a / prefix:

Command Description
/kick <player> <reason> Kick a player from the server with an optional reason
/ban <player> <duration> <reason> Ban a player (duration examples: 1440 for 24 hours, 0 for permanent)
/ahelp <message> Send or respond to an admin help message
/tp <player> Teleport to a player's location
/tpto <player> <target> Teleport one player to another
/aghost Toggle admin ghost mode (invisible observation)
/spawn <entity> Spawn an entity prototype at your cursor location
/delete Delete the entity you click on next
/restartround Force restart the current round
/endround Force end the current round normally
/setgamepreset <preset> Set the next round's game preset (e.g., Traitor, Nukeops, Sandbox)

Player Management

The admin panel's player tab provides a list of all connected players with quick actions:

  • View Info — See a player's account, IP, connected time, and role
  • Admin Message — Send a direct admin message to the player
  • Kick — Remove the player from the server
  • Ban — Ban by account and/or IP with a reason and duration
  • Teleport — Teleport to the player or bring them to you
  • Smite — Various humorous punishments (gibbing, electrocution, etc.)

Round Management

Admins can control the game round through commands or the admin panel:

  • /restartround — Immediately restart the round
  • /endround — End the round normally (shows round-end screen)
  • /setgamepreset <name> — Set the next round's preset
  • /forcepreset <name> — Force a specific preset for the current round

Banning

SS14 supports several types of bans:

Ban Type Description
Server Ban Prevents the player from connecting to the server entirely
Role Ban Prevents the player from playing specific roles (e.g., Captain, Security)
Department Ban Prevents the player from playing any role in a department
Ban Management: Bans can be managed through the admin panel's ban tab in-game. You can view active bans, modify durations, and remove bans from there.

Server Console Commands

Some commands can also be run from the GPanel console (server-side):

Command Description
status Show server status and connected players
kick <player> Kick a player from the server console
ban <player> <minutes> <reason> Ban a player from the server console
restart Restart the current round
shutdown Gracefully shut down the server
